OPPO N1 - First Rotating Camera on a Smartphone

OPPO N1 World's First Rotating Camera

OPPO is introducing the world's first rotating camera module on a smartphone. Releasing next week, on December 10th, is the OPPO N1. Costing $599 in the U.S. and €499 in Europe, the smartphone has a full-HD 5,9 inch 1080p screen and is Oppo's latest flagship. As you'd expect from
flagship phones, it has the latest hardware specifications and unique features.

OPPO's N1 has a Snapdragon 600 processor at 1.7 GHz with 2GB RAM memory and a 13 MP rotating camera. Available in 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage versions. What's interesting about this smartphone is that it will be able to run CyanogenMod right out of the box, which is also a first for smartphones as far as I know at least. There isn't any advanced fussing around required and also rooting isn't required. Though the versions with CyanogenMod pre-installed will be limited, all version of OPPO's N1 will be able to change with ease from the default OS, ColorOS, to CyanogenMod.

For now I haven't researched this smartphone as much as would like to, but I thought it was worth it to let you guys know already. Making the choice of what smartphone to get isn't done as easily as some might think. There are many things to consider when buying one. A good review will be added either in a new post or I will update this post. It's always good to know what's inside the phone your buying.

For those of you who already made up their minds and are planning to buy the OPPO N1, they have set up a page on their website with a country locator.
